Chocolate Protein Thickshake by Zoe Tattersall

Next time you’re craving a chocolate thickshake, whip up this nutrient-packed smoothie instead. Hit your protein and carb macros, plus sneak in an extra serving of leafy green veggies – I promise you won’t taste them at all!



Serves 1

Ingredients:
• 1-2 Swiss chard or kale leaves
• 50g frozen banana, chopped
• 50g frozen organic blueberries
• 1 scoop chocolate protein powder (whey or pea)
• 1 tbsp raw cacao powder
• 70ml unsweetened almond milk
• 100ml water
• 5-6 ice cubes

Method:
Add all the ingredients, starting with the kale first to a highpowered blender. Blend on low, scraping down the sides or using the tamp if your blender has one. Blend for about 30 seconds until it reaches a thick, creamy consistency. Pour, top with a few extra berries and enjoy!



28g protein; 28g carbs; 8g fat; 250 calories per serve
