Tropical Green Tea Tonic

Try this protein-packed shake to ensure that you fuel your muscle gains and recover super-fast after you workout. 


Prep time: 5 minutes

Serving size: 1




- 1/2 cup 100% orange juice

- 1/2 cup caffeinated green tea (steeped in hot water for 2 minutes, then chilled with ice)

- 1 cup tropical fruit mix (pineapple, mango, papaya and/or banana), chopped, fresh or frozen, no sugar added

- 1 tbsp ground flaxseed

- 1 scoop whey protein powder (strawberry or orange flavour)




Add orange juice, green tea and tropical fruit mix to a blender; process for about 45 seconds or until smooth.


Add flaxseed and protein powder; continue blending for about 15 seconds. 


Serve immediately.
